I guess all politicians are good people because they SAY they want to do good things. Muslims are commanded to kill non believers Qur’an:9:5 “Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.” Qur’an:9:112 “The Believers fight in Allah’s Cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed.” That is what a REAL Muslim is commanded to do. A Christian is commanded to love non believers "Love your enemies! Do good to them! Lend to them! And don't be concerned that they might not repay. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to the unthankful and to those who are wicked. "Difference?" Hardly. Christians have been guilty of mass murder and torture for centuries. In past centuries it was primarily religious persecution/ crusading/ political power playing in Europe by the Catholic Church... today, the worst of it comes in the form of "Christian nations" waging unjustified and unjustifiable wars that lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, and propping up evil regimes for the purpose of having access to desirable resources. Christianity and Islam are cut from the exact same mold. I deeply applaud and admire the virtuous forgiveness displayed by Tillman's wife. If only all Christians could put Christ's teachings into practice so well! But we also find Muslims who can and do display such forgiveness. Such individuals are rare in all religions.
