<description>Hopefully there will be justice for Natalya, but in the face of so many previous murders of journalists that have gone overlooked, it’s hard to trust that there wont simply be “partial justice.” The killings being tied to the political elite, and being used to send a message to any of those who wish to follow in the field of human rights activism, is perhaps the scariest part of this whole situation. The larger implications for the citizens of Chechnya make a bleak outlook on the future unless things change fast.
