BUDAPEST, HUNGARY (BosNewsLife)-- A key leader of Hungary's Jewish community criticized Germany Thursday, August 7, for planning to pay 12.3 million euros ($19 million) to about 6,500 Jewish survivors of the Nazi occupation of Budapest, saying the companestion comes "many years too late."
