SANAA, YEMEN (BosNewsLife)-- At least some nine Christian converts remained detained in Yemen Friday, August 22, amid international concerns they may be tortured or even killed because of their decision to abandon Islam.
SANAA, YEMEN (BosNewsLife)-- At least seven Yemeni Christians remained detained for alleged involvement in "promoting Christianity" Wednesday July 2, amid concerns they may be tortured, a human rights group said, but it denied previous reports that Americans were among them.

SANAA, YEMEN (BosNewsLife)-- Seven arrested Christian missionaries, including an unknown number of Americans, apparently remained detained in Yemen Sunday, June 29, and there was international concern they may face torture for spreading Christianity, several sources said.
